Speed up your punching power!!

Speed up your punching/kicking power with these simple tricks.

1. The first thing to practise is, of course, your form. Bad form leads to bad habits and will only hinder your progress.
When you practise, use mirrors to watch and critique yourself. Pay close attention to what your body is and isn't doing. Believe it or not your hips and legs can make your punches faster and more powerful. Slightly bend you knees and spring off them when you execute your punch.

2. Mental blocks can also put a block on your progress. So think fast and your hands will follow.

3. Use goals when you train. How many hits can you land in a 10,15, or 20 second period? Then seek to improve on that during your next session.

4. Do exercises that help with the muscles used for your punch/kick. Do a Google search on articles dealing with medicine ball exercises and polymetrics
Keep in mind these exercises are intense so do them only a couple times per week

By following these tips and striving to improve on your previous goals, you will get Bruce Lee fast in no time!
